Services we provide
Wooden Things pride ourselves on the varied customer base that come to us, these include;
For Schools - We supply educational toys to playgroups and schools. We are currently asked to attend summer schools, where we bring our toy workshop to the youngsters who attend. We also attend events across the country where we are invited to showcase toys from the past and from around the world alongside the workshop.
For Museums - We supply replica toys to museums. We supply professional looking wooden toys to order. Shown above is a replica toy we were commissioned to make in the Autumn of 2007.It is a Victorian toy called a scissors toy. We made a troop of soldier design and a dancing women design. Shown above is the soldiers' toy.
For Tutorials - Other services that we can provide are single and small group tutorials on using the scroll saw. We currently provide one-day courses in our workshop. You will be taken through the hobby of scroll-sawing at your own pace. The teacher (Andy Black) has over twenty years experience in this field. A Promotional DVD clip will be available soon.
For Group speaking - Other services that we can provide are group tutorials on using the scroll saw. We are invited to functions to talk to an audience about the hobby of scroll-sawing. Contact us for more details.
